Counselor Robyn Shawcroft
About MeRobyn Shawcroft started as the professional school counselor for Monte Vista Middle School in January of this year. She is a valley native, with 8 years of experience providing behavioral health services to children, youth and families. She earned her Bachelorette degree in psychology and sociology with emphases in Criminology and Social Welfare from the University of Northern Colorado and Adams State College. She is currently enrolled in the Master’s in Counseling program at Adams State University and anticipates graduating in May. She enjoys cooking, dancing, hunting, camping, fishing, snowmobiling, and spending time with her husband and three children. She loves being a partner in the educational journey and an advocate helping youth grow and move in a positive direction. She believes in supporting students and collaborating with professionals, parents and the community to ensure opportunities for meaningful participation for all students.
